HELPCODE is an international NGO, headquartered in Italy and Switzerland.
Helpcode have had a presence in Cambodia since 2006, working on projects in 40 villages in the provinces of Sihanoukville,
Kampot and Kandal, implementing programs that support children's equitable access to a quality education and that work to improve children's overall safety and well being.
We work in the remotest rural areas of the country, where opportunities for change are declining and access to fundamental rights is becoming problematic.
In Cambodia drowning is a leading cause of injury for all children following infancy.
This is predicted to increase as Climate Change disrupts water sources and increases flooding events across the country.

In 2022, the Helpcode Children's Drowning Prevention Program reached over 3,000 children of whom more than half were girls, through the invaluable support of the Princess Charlène of Monaco Foundation and with the technical assistance of Swim Cambodia.
